60 more rows.....
3,000 more beads.....
6 more inches.....
?? more hours?
Well, almost there. Beading-wise, that is. I'm very excited that I'm almost done with the bead-weaving, although I still have to sew the piece onto the leather strap & then make the buckle.
I got a little beaded-out & didn't touch it for a week. But the deadline's next Tuesday, so I had to get cracking. So far, I've done 90 rows (4,500 beads) in two days. My index finger's a little sore right now....

I'm especially happy with the burro. Whadda cutie!

Signe,
Yep, the burro rocks! Keep up the good work. It's fun to watch the progress. Hope all is well.

I have been meaning to leave a comment for a while as I have been following your progress--this is really gorgeous! I'm a beader and knitter of long standing as well, but my beading projects have never been quite that large. You have real courage.

Thanks Ed & Theresa,
I think it's more insanity than courage.
No, seriously, it's not as difficult as you think. And I say that only after trying it for myself.
