Junk Food

So, I'm not working and I'm concerned what's going to be coming up, if anything, in the next several weeks. I am supposed to be receiving unemployment, but since I had the audacity to get a temporary job, EDD wants to interview me, holding my checks in the meantime.

Because of the money situation, you'd think I'd try to save money by cooking at home. Nope. I've been on a fast food binge the past several days, & it ain't pretty.

-By the way, if any of my students are reading this, I sometimes intentionally use phrases that one usually shouldn't write. This is just for emphasis.

Anyway, I keep telling myself I'm going to walk to Trader Joe's (an amazing grocery store if you haven't heard of it), and get lots of fruits and veggies to make some yummy dishes. But it's been a bust, so far.

But I think I've gotten over the urge and am looking forward to a nice avocado and tomato salad. Yum!
